The "Chiadero" offers two diameters designed for complementary uses: 25 cm (6-ply beech frame) for fast, precise, and articulated playing, and 40 cm (7-ply) for more foundation, low register, and projection. The 8-screw tuning system fine-tunes the skin tension closely to your gesture, while the internal shaker, integrated into the frame, adds a subtle rhythmic veil without weighing down the strike. Tuning key included to adapt the set to each venue and climate.
The goat skin delivers an organic warmth, rich midrange, and a slightly granular attack ideal for finger strikes, sweeps, and rolls. The beech frame, dense and stable, promotes clear projection and quick response, with a neutral tonal color that highlights the natural character of the skin.
At 25 cm, the higher tension produces a precise attack, short to medium sustain, and great clarity of ghost notes. At 40 cm, the larger surface offers more air, a fuller low end, and broader sustain, perfect for enveloping ostinatos. The integrated shaker adds a subtle shimmer that supports the groove without masking the pulse.
