The G5420T Electromatic® Classic Hollow Body Single-Cut with Bigsby® features a laminated maple body with vintage-inspired contours and refined arches, as well as an all-new trestle block bracing to reduce unwanted effects. By increasing the stiffness and contact between the top and back of the body, the new trestle block design also allows the sound to have a faster, more focused, snappier attack and greater sustain. Paired with the all-new FT-5E Filter'Tron? pickups, the voice of this hollow construction explodes with huge, full-bodied punch, classic chime, and enhanced presence, clarity, and note definition.
A brand-new maple neck with a classic "C" shape offers a more comfortable playing feel to improve playability and performance, topped with a 12-inch radius laurel fingerboard.
