ibanez quality as always!! :) no manufacturing defects. perfect intonation straight out of the box just the neck slightly too straight for my taste (1 quarter turn of the truss rod and it was fixed). the pickups sound good even in the bass. this is my first fanned fret and I am convinced the string tension is perfect and no problem playing on the contrary I prefer it to a classic fretting! moreover the spotted poplar top is magnificent with the glossy varnish. I recommend it to anyone wanting an 8-string not too expensive with a "wood" finish
