Absolutely against at first, I tried a "fibracell" from one of my students, wanting to show him that you shouldn't take "that" to play "real" music, I was amazed by the sound obtained with this reed. So I equipped myself with it on my 3 saxophones (I managed to get a harmonic/overhigh G on the first try on my soprano with a mouthpiece that is not suitable at all and I found intonation on this same sax that hasn't seen a luthier for a while...)

I was a fan, I love the consistency of this reed, but it is not indestructible. With wear, a kind of plastic coating peels off, and it severely jams the sound. Now I only buy Fibracell, because I ended up stuck with 2 ruined reeds, so 4 stars.

Why bother with traditional reeds that often give bad surprises, the Fibracell reed is the one I chose, always available, highly recommended.

Anche always ready to play and does not change even if the performance lasts for hours, unlike cane reeds.
In my opinion, musicians who advise against this kind of product probably haven't tried them! Perfect for playing in a band formation like "banda".
