As usual, Epiphone delivers a high-quality item without quite reaching excellence. My 2009 Epiphone Les Paul Custom (Chinese) fits perfectly inside (although, as mentioned in another review, it's a bit hard to get in at first, but since all foam tends to compress a bit over time, it's better that it's a bit thicker; the guitar will fit perfectly after a while), the materials used are of very good quality but the finish is not up to par. Small elements are present under the vinyl causing small bumps in various places, a sewing thread sticking out (minor), a somewhat stubborn zipper to close completely (breaking in?), and finally a glue mark removed with household alcohol. Last thing, contrary to what is indicated in the description, the handle is not padded like on my Epiphone Slash case, and yet apart from one or two details, it's exactly the same with the Slash logo added, a shame for my hand... Overall nothing serious but it costs two stars out of five.

Disappointing exterior quality. The housing for my Les Paul is narrow, I have to force it onto the table for it to fit, but at least it doesn't move. Les Paul Standard Epiphone from '94, maybe the dimensions have changed.
