Very good drumsticks, thin, and well balanced. The only ones that allowed me to overcome tendinitis in both wrists ;-)
I play all styles in a variety orchestra and they fit perfectly...
Indeed a longevity issue but 5h of set/week + training... I'm not more surprised than that!!

These PE2 sticks (with a tapered tip) correspond to the peter erskine model called "the ride stick", meaning that (compared to the other PE model with a round tip) the weight is a bit more shifted to the back, which helps a lot for fast ride in jazz, the stick bouncing faster in the palm. I've tried many sticks of all kinds and these PE2 are really the fastest for chabada! The tips wear out quite quickly though (or maybe it's me using them too much...). I also find that the tapered tips produce a very good sound on cymbals, rather muffled to develop the low end of the sustains, (if you want to make the cymbals scream in the high end you have to play with the pro-mark Wertico, also excellent for training...)
