a powerful and agile sound, great dynamics, I am very happy to have a supraphonic. The rolls come out enhanced. I use it to play worship in churches. I needed a controlled and rather matte sound. I no longer need to put cloths and sticky stuff to manage the sound of my snare drum. I like the snare mechanism that engages silently and adjusts in increments by turning the screw head.
