A superb instrument, affordable, that will delight beginners and casual players.
For my part, and as an anecdote; my living room being completely black and white, my first motivation for the purchase was aesthetic!!
Yes, a black and white Cajon is quite rare, and it's really very pretty (even more in real life than in the photos)
The white is really very pure, incredibly bright, certainly a nod to the crackling houses in southern Spain...
The black wood brings a more authentic side and the combination with the golden touch (you like it/you don't) but I find it just perfectly balanced.
Whether it's the white, the black or the gold, it's hard to get a real idea from the photos, the colors are "all much more beautiful in natural light!"
Musically: it does what is asked of it!
So yes, it's more entry-level than professional, but a really quality entry-level!
I own a 2nd Cajon from this manufacturer (a higher range) and even if the Zocco2.0 seems to diffuse slightly less openness especially on the bass, it defends itself very very well and remains dynamic
Maybe after some good playing sessions, the sound will evolve anyway
Anyway... a purchase that already delights me and for a long time
No regrets!!
