Very happy with my purchase. It sounds very good and especially very loud, I have another transistor combo from another brand and frankly no comparison on power and decibels, it outperforms the Fender. It works well with effect pedals whether on the clean channel or on the "crunch"....

Amplifier with FX on its two separate channels. It is halfway between a simple combo and a modeling combo.

I have been playing for years on all amps. RV, Davoli, Vox, AC50 head with Suprëme cabinet, Marshall 2 bodies, Vox. And now, with effects, everything is possible for only 18 kilos.

Very good product, which combines power but the possibility to play at home without destroying everything or becoming deaf, plenty of sounds and effects to work, have fun, etc.... For the price, it's really good. I recommend this product and I consider Woodbrass to be a very good music store.

Excellent amp, very good sounds, too bad the effects loop is in front and the on/off switch is at the back, I would have preferred the opposite! but it's just a detail!

I don't consider myself a musician but a very amateur harmonica player. I bought this amp to accompany my friends on the guitar. I'll see how it goes but everything seems perfect, practically forcing me to also start playing the guitar. At 65 years old, it will still be difficult.

I am honestly surprised by the quality of the effects except maybe the reverb which is not refined enough for my taste but the distortions and others there's no need to add a pedal the original effects are enough. So the power if you want watts you are served the volume at 3 satisfies the ears in short a good amp for experienced or professional musicians.

It's a bit heavy, but worth its weight in gold. To think that at first I was just looking for an amp head. So here: easy to use, no need to be a sound engineer, plenty of power, a wide variety of sounds, it might have deserved a knob to make delay adjustment easier, but for everything else it's perfect. My Strats are enhanced, pure happiness. Don't hesitate.

Hello, after a Marshall Code 100 H, I say it's perfect and there's no comparison for sound quality, it's different for sure but here I lean towards FENDER. Delivered clean, well packed, nice finishes. Very good sound quality and a very nice range of possibilities. Thank you Woodbrass.

Great value for money: the sound is excellent, the effects are sufficient for common uses, the metal pedal is sturdy. And there is plenty of power to spare!

My first new purchase and not disappointed. A clean sound that I was looking for, which gives confidence in playing. Everything seems simpler. The effects are easy to use, even if I don't use them much. I prefer pedals for wah-wah or delay effects. As for channel 2 with British and Metal sounds, I'm not totally convinced but at this price, you can't complain. The purchase of a distortion pedal will wait. The negative point is the weight (that's why I give 4/5), but normal given the size. A bit frustrating because you'd like to turn up the volume but even outdoors at a concert, going up to 4 is already too loud compared to other instruments, and yet, you'd want to push this beast!! In short, I recommend this amp because it really helped me progress!

good amp, easy to use, good power; the effects, not bad at all, the warmth of the tubes? pffff, at the limit, in winter, otherwise very stiff service and no problem, exceptional value for money, bravo Fender and thank you Woodbrass

Ideal for starting out in a group or concert but with good pedals. You need to push the volume a bit (and it was already too loud in my Paris apartment) for it to be pleasant to play.

It replaced an outdated Princeton chorus transistor, next to a Peavey Vypyr VIP tiring in complexity.... With the plus of amp simulations and the multi-effect.
The Fender-type simulations are convincing (Tweed, Blackface...) The others are less convincing, but you don't buy a Fender to get a Vox or a Marshall!
The clean sounds are obvious, of course; and for crunch, I rather use pedals.
Good behavior with even a complicated pedalboard.
The settings are obvious, without complexity; the effect presets are surprisingly at first, but super practical in rehearsal and on stage.
Excellent respect for the sound of instruments (solid body, 1/2 hollow body and jazz).
Deserves wheels to move it because a single handle is a bit tight considering the weight and bulk.

A hell of a power for a combo. Excellent value for money. The clean, a bit plain, should be complemented by a small compression to make it less cold. The effects are rather good but it's not worth a pedal. The distortion is good when you play a bit with the settings. It is as effective in solo as in rhythm. It's an amp for band rehearsals. I don't know how it performs in concerts though. Playing at home is complicated because at low volume. The sound doesn't come out that well.

Excellent amp, perfect for playing at home (finally manageable volume, unlike the old frontman 212R) or for playing in a band while keeping a very defined sound (even at high volume). The asset of this amp is of course the clean and Crunch sounds (mainly clean), for which Fender is well known...
The different Voicings recall the Mustangs and Gdec but with more compression and dynamics (it's not a tube amp but the dynamics are really very good for a transistor, moreover you can play with the guitar volume to switch from a clean sound to Crunch or overdrive, like a full tube amp!). Channel 1 is related to the twin reverb, a nice clean!!!
Channel 2 offers different voicings, from tweed to blackfaces, Jazz (which are my favorites), Britishs and Metal that I use quite little or not at all... Of course, you can play with the Gain to get clean sounds or with Crunch or nice overdrive.
The effects are frankly good, I use them in small doses so as not to drown the sound..., the Reverb, delay are really very good... the other effects are also good even if I use them very little... (not very convinced by the auto wha effect though, but it is not unusable either)
Otherwise, what else to say except that the sounds are of very high quality, the speakers are also really good (they react very well even when pushing the amp to the max, even though they are not broken in...).
In short:
pros: controlled and usable power at low and high volume, sound quality (dynamics), really good different voicings (very versatile amp), overall quality (the amp does not heat up, does not vibrate at all even at full volume!), very reasonable weight for the beast (!), price of course! (hard to find this sound quality even at this price, even second hand!!!)
cons: correct finish (speaker cloth not well stretched and plate poorly glued, yes there is an extra plate in front of the board that supports the speakers... but nothing dramatic, nothing that could question the overall quality of the amp)
So a superb purchase, hoping that reliability will be there (the opposite would surprise me, Fender has a long experience in this matter... and we benefit from the woodbrass 3-year and Fender 5-year warranty)
I love this amp, yet I have had many tube amps: Vox ac15c1, Fender superchamp XD, Champ 12, champion 600, Laney lc50, lc15, cub8, Marshall class5, jtm 60... and more...), just to say that you should not stop at the "transistor" or "tube" consideration, each amp is different, there are tube amps that are not worth much, just like transistors... and there are good tube amps and good transistors... The champion 100 is a very good transistor!
To get a real idea the best is still to try it or try to buy it (which I did, there are very few reviews on the new Champion range, a kind of mix between the old very simple Frontman and the Mustangs full of modelings which can put off by its use, having had the Gdec 3 thirty which is very nice and fun, but I can say that I wanted a simple amp where you don't look for 3 hours to find the sound you want... the Champion 100 answers that by giving more possibilities than the old Frontman and with better sounds).
Otherwise excellent Woodbrass service, prompt shipping, delivery by Chronopost... perfect!
