Very good overdrive with very good dynamics and infinite sustain. It will adapt to all styles, the Tone also acts on the aggressiveness or softness of the saturation which makes it ultra versatile. I use it with an Orange Amp Rocker 15 combo in "always on" mode, it allows me to recover dynamics, a bit of presence (power stage in headroom mode, to avoid disturbing the neighbors) and contain the "fat" side of the dirty channel despite the high level of distortion. In terms of assembly, it's Boss, it's solid, well finished and their pedal to activate or deactivate the effect is so much more pleasant to use than a standard button. I would make the same choice again without hesitation.

I got this Overdrive at Christmas but I have some questions because it was used for about 15 minutes and 2 batteries drained in 4 days, do you have to remove the battery after each use?? It's not very practical
