Efficient & easy to adjust, a joy for sound engineers! These heads are perfectly suited for all music styles except maybe Jazz because they have few harmonics & resonance. The sound is full, rich as desired, quite well defined depending on the adjustment & tension of the head, which has good durability with heavy playing. I use them on a birch Yamaha, a perfect match, a full, powerful sound, no muting is necessary but if you add harmonic attenuators, no unwanted frequencies will be present and you will get a rich sound, ideal for recording, truly amazing! So, highly recommended, practical, efficient & affordable, a must for Pop, Folk, Rock, Funk...
