Very good for its price, good guitar, maybe a little light with the original strings, I will change them tomorrow to see the difference. Otherwise, it is quite easy to play for a beginner, but if I had to choose today, I would have spent a bit more!

This guitar was given to me last year for Christmas. The value for money is truly astonishing: beautiful tones both in the bass and treble, a powerful sound that withstands everything (it really packs a punch!!!), a nice look (except for that awful "E" of Epiphone which looks like the "E" of euros but I changed the pickguard and now it looks splendid). I don't understand the complaint about the original strings since they are D'Addario strings that were recommended to me in the store for a good quality/comfort ratio. Sure, they blacken the fingers but what good metal strings don't??? I wonder. For me, the only problem is the "general roughness" of the guitar (heavy, big and long, in short a bit cumbersome for my small build and causing neck pain; strong vibrations that also tire quite a bit since it packs a heavy punch). That's why I bought a small "road" Martin in a lighter format. And there, I have to admit that my body feels the difference. However, believe me if you want, although the Martin costs 10 times more than this one, in pure acoustic terms, I much prefer the sound of this excellent guitar which I recommend without hesitation and continue to play regularly.

Goes out of tune all the time, like half an hour and we retune: important play in the keys and drums. Customer service does not respond..... I regret the quality. Delivered with scratches and big glue marks on the frets. The bridge split at the level of a string notch. Not great in clear tone

After starting on a classic Yamaha, I switched to this acoustic. I've had it for 6 months now and honestly, I love it. I hesitated a lot and I don't regret this choice at all. Sunburst or Black, that was my question, but when I went to the store I realized the Black one was full of fingerprints and "dirty", so I turned to the sunburst which is just sublime. A fast and quality service, ordered on Tuesday at ten to noon, delivered on Wednesday morning, hats off!
The package was well packed with no risk of the guitar moving around in the box during transport.
The Epiphone DR 100 is a good guitar for a beginner who wants a quality instrument at an affordable price.
There are some glue marks at the bottom of the neck but nothing to make a fuss about, you have to be realistic given the price. The value for money is very good, I do not regret this purchase at all, on the contrary, I am even surprised, having bought other guitars from competing brands and in the same price range, this DR100 stands out honorably from the competition.
