The microphone is excellent, with faithful and good quality sound. However, the USB port to connect to the PC seems quite fragile. It broke after one year, even though the microphone did not suffer any shock. It's a shame nowadays that people prefer to replace the microphone with a new one instead of repairing it...

The device is very light, the screw thread allows mounting on stands. The protection is good and allows inserting the remote control. The sound is very decent but you need to adjust the gain to avoid saturation.

This recorder is reliable, small, and handy. I took the complete packaging with accessories. The tripod is practical, the remote control makes it easier to record from an instrument without having to move and sit back down. The choice between alkaline or rechargeable batteries, the 5 microphones that can be distributed in different ways, the configuration options (solo, concert, speech...) make the H2N easily adaptable. It takes a little time to master everything, however the handling is intuitive even without reading the entire manual and without being a sound professional.

Not perfect but close! To record digital piano or electro-acoustic guitar via line in input, impeccable! For guitar voice with the internal microphone not bad but not obvious to find the right distance between the voice and the guitar. For the price, it's worth it. Many functions but not too many. Quite intuitive. Happy with my purchase :-)

Ok, it's Zoom! And this Zoom H2n, I was eagerly waiting for it! I own an H4n (solid and fragile at the same time - external mics), but of impeccable quality. As usual, I bought it via phone (sometimes via the Internet, when I can) at Woodbrass (by the way, super +++ for the team - I think it was Vincent who handled me on the phone: you're too cool dude! And the store manager, always professional). However, I was disappointed by three main points. First, I feel obliged to buy a silicone protection on eBay that won't fit in the case provided with the optional kit. Secondly, unlike the H4n, it is made of plastic and does not inspire, at first glance, confidence. But I think this is just a prejudice for those who handle professional gear every day (mistreat it). More problematic is the underlying noise level that assaults the ears when listening with headphones (I have an excellent AKG) or worse, on the built-in speaker. Nevertheless, the product is good, nothing more, but does not correspond to the excellence to which Zoom had accustomed us. Since I bought it for journalism (Planète Robots, which I recommend you read), it will do, and I do not regret my purchase, as it is better suited than my Zoom H4n, which I would not give up for anything in the world! An asset, however, is the lightness and handling, as well as an almost exceptional ergonomics, provided you read the manual, which I never do! The only flaw of the accessory pack: no wrist strap (I bought it on eBay). In my humble opinion, this should be a product priced at 120 euros at most (my Sony MX-20 is close, and takes no space, but at the time I paid 280 euros for it), and if you want to do real sound recording, in my opinion, prefer the H4n, if your conditions are "mechanically compatible" (not in crowds, because of the external mics too little protected, except with the windscreen), and your budget is adapted! Audio: 5/10 Ergonomics: 8/10 Adaptation in "crowd" environments: 9/10 Appearance: 7/10 Accessories: 7/10 (missing silicone case and unsuitable envelope with silicone case) Average, in my opinion: not bad, but could do better for the price!... But we trust you, Mister Zoom!
