Super quality microphone, contrary to many reviews, despite poor acoustics in my studio, the room reverb is not too noticeable, however mouth noises are very present but easy to manage. Perfect for a home studio without having to splurge on a c414. I recommend it!

Bought for recording guitar (acoustic and electric) and voice for a small home studio. Really very beautiful definition! Another world compared to the dynamic microphones used before.

to capture my acoustic guitar on the soundhole. I double the recording with a Neumann KM184 on the fretboard.

Nice to meet you! Great sound right from the recording. I use it for singing bowls, a tongue drum, koshis... almost no editing needed.

I hesitated with the NEUMANN TLM 102 but the AKG C214 is just excellent in terms of performance and its price remains very affordable compared to its competitor. However, it is less aesthetic than the NEUMANN but this remains a minor detail and a matter of taste.

The C series from AKG needs no introduction, this microphone is of impeccable build quality. After testing it in my studio, I must say I am amazed by the sound capture quality of this C214. No hiss, wide frequency coverage, a GREAT value for money.

Excellent value for money for all beginner home studio users, however better for guitar recording than vocals (in my opinion)
For the features, a good test bench is available for you on audiofanzine (as always)

Very good microphone for singing and acoustic guitar (that's all I've tested with it so far), with a screen behind it's perfect, the sound is captured very well.
