Very nice method.
A bit complicated for a beginner I think.

Very beautiful book that I have been using for only 3 days with encouraging results! However, for a beginner like me, the step is a little too high and additional information on the net and/or another book for beginners is strongly recommended.

An excellent method, clear, fun and motivating. With real (good) rock pieces and a CD that helps to clearly illustrate the point. The progression is logical and allows you to really notice continuous improvement (well, you have to work regularly but, that's all methods). Highly recommended.

It's my teacher who recommended it to me because he knows mister Krooks! I admit that his method is great: well presented (which is rare for a method!), a great CD and only hits to work on.
If you want to start seriously, it's the best! The rhythms are really basic rhythms that you can play on tons of songs!

This method is excellent and the colored layout is super pleasant! You want to dive into it more than other methods. I'm on the third piece and I love it! The rhythmic advice for the right hand is very clear and I can't wait to finish it.
Highly recommended!

Great method in color with bios on the artists, a well-made playback CD and especially well-known songs!
I got back to the guitar about a month and a half ago and it's motivating to have good songs to play! The playbacks are great but you have to read all the texts carefully to understand the accompaniments, it's a bit hard at first but now, I play the first 4 songs!
Anyway, compared to other methods I had seen before (this is not my first attempt, I'm 37) it's nothing like it! It's motivating to play real songs rather than Oh Suzanna or La Maison Bleue!
In short, a great method for beginners!
