Very good sound card. However, installing the additional plugins... what a pain!

I am a singer-songwriter and I bought Volt1 for recording a production, delivered with a bunch of plugins, very good sound and zero hiss.

Perfect good start to music recording. The installation of the provided software and their use is not necessarily obvious and requires some getting used to. To be seen over time with use.

Audio quality is flawless, it's UAD. A multitude of plugins provided requiring a lot of space on the hard drive. 2 power supply options planned. No crackling on the monitoring speakers. At low volume, the sound is loud in the headphones unlike the m-audio m-track hub I own where I have to turn it up fully to hear the small details well. Purchase I recommend with my eyes closed. I hesitated a lot between the ssl2, focusrite 2i2 and motu but my choice leaned towards the uad volt 1 without regret.
