I have little experience both with the use of these microphones and in comparison with others. They satisfy me with their low noise level and sound quality.

Excellent microphones for this budget! The Lewitt LCT 040 that I was able to test are more flattering and offer an openness that these Rode M5 do not have. Too bad, I did not keep the LCT 040, one of the two suffered from a big buzz which strangely was not detected by the after-sales service? According to them, it came from my setup which I had of course taken care to check beforehand (cables, preamp). I was unlucky this time. These are excellent microphones for recording acoustic guitar.
