Strings are quite good even though I would appreciate manufacturers offering softer strings with lower tension. My old hands get a bit tired after a while.

I bought this set of strings as well as the equivalent D'Addario EXP to compare and mounted each set on 2 high-end Takamine guitars. The differences are noticeable: D'Addario is much brighter and more "resonant" than Elixir. It should also be noted that at the same gauge, D'Addario is much more flexible than Elixir. To be seen in the long term, but the price difference between the 2 sets does not make sense to me.
