Hard to make it simpler ... very good (for my little level)

This is my first compression pedal. I really appreciated the dynamics that this pedal brings to my playing. I connect it to a Strat and an HnG tube amp. Clear sound: The sustain is indeed extended, but what I like (subjective opinion of course) is the color that this pedal brings me. I feel a certain "power" in the sound. Saturated sound: The sustain is slightly longer, and the sound is much more powerful. Appearance: A very robust, classy, small mxr box, in short, it looks professional. It's a good pedal in terms of value for money, which I recommend testing before buying. For my part, it fully satisfies me after 3 hours of intensive playing. Regarding settings, you will need to spend some time to find your "sound", but it's quite simple given the configuration: intensity controls the compression level and output the output level.
