Coming from a 15-year-old RME Fireface UC that I considered top-notch, I fell in love with this little card which certainly has fewer inputs but an incomparable sound and a top effects bundle. I was originally looking for a card with the possibility to add reverb in monitoring, and this function is fully satisfactory. You have to get familiar with the routing but once you understand it, it's all good. The SPDIF allows me to add inputs from my RME card to avoid having to reconnect keyboards and guitars as needed. In short, go go go!

I've had it for a week and honestly it's amazing! It's like night and day compared to my old Scarlett Solo card.
What I liked the most:
- A magnificent and detailed sound whether on headphones or monitors.
- A superb stereo definition that will make you rediscover your mixes.
- An imperceptible latency and a plugin catalog (working with Synergy Core technology) that makes the competition pale.
- A simple and efficient control interface for managing audio flow and plugins assigned to tracks (modifiable according to your DAW configuration).
- And above all, an unbeatable value for money in this range of self-powered sound cards.
I also received 37 free plugins, plus an "Edge Note" microphone dedicated to string instruments that emulates 13 microphones with different timbres.
A great deal for the price. I recommend it 200%. Go for it with your eyes closed, you won't regret it.

This USB interface allowed me to take it to the next level, it replaced the good old Scarlett. The Zen Go is of great hardware quality. It has the bare minimum in terms of connectivity: 2 headphones, 1 balanced output, SPDIF, 2 combo inputs, and the case inspires confidence. The big plus is that it can be used with an iPhone/iPad without a computer thanks to its self-powering system, that's just crazy.
Then on the software side, it's a real delight. There is a great user interface on the machine, then the famous Synergy Core on the entry mixer. The latter is really good, it's sober, simple but not too complicated (maybe a bit more for monitors). With the basic version, you can chain 4 effects, which is more than enough when you regularly use a DAW (preamp, EQ, comp, De-esser and that's enough). For me, at this price, and given the quality of the DSP/plugins, I find it just huge!
I very clearly recommend it if you want to move to pro guitar/voice recording gear, and if you are still hesitating with UAD it's better to go for this one which offers you better plugins for a much lower price. And yet both offer the same specs.
Only small downside (and it's still positive): maybe too many updates, it causes my sound card to crash at startup and I have to restart it very often because of that.
In any case, excellent product, which will replace some names that monopolize the sound card market a bit too much.

Hesitant between Uad and Antelope, I finally opted for Antelope Zen Go for its attractive offer (price and free plugins) given the performance offered.
My main need is voice recording with Preamp, De-esser and Compression at the sound capture. And Antelope and its choice of plugins are excellent.
In short, nothing to envy UAD in my opinion. The preamps are of very good quality as well as the compressors like the Opto 2A.
Finally, the prices of paid plugins are much lower than those of UAD for similar or even superior quality, for example the Impresseur compressor (the equivalent of the Distressor).
The Antelope quality amazed me.

I've only been using it for a few days and I already feel the difference with the Motu M2 that I used until now. The Motu is already an excellent sound card.
It will take me a little more time to get used to it because, although it is relatively simple to install and use, I need to get accustomed to new possibilities.
Not to mention the different effects delivered with it and the AFX2DAW that I don't see appearing in my DAW at the moment. But well, it will come.
One small regret, the clicks of the buttons are very noisy.
Given the quality of the beast, I find it a bit of a shame that they didn't put in commands that are a bit less "noisy". But so far, that's the only complaint I have.
It's an excellent sound card that will bring me a lot.

For the price and the included effects bundles, nothing to complain about!
In terms of microphone preamps, converters, headphone/speaker outputs, it's very transparent with more than adequate gain reserve.
Having 2 independent headphone outputs as well as internal routing of the card is a great luxury, not to mention the DSP part.
My only drawback for now is that the card must be activated, at least initially, via the internet and that it is necessary to create a customer account with Antelope to download the drivers or manage the installation of the DSP effects of the ZEN GO.

This Antelope is extraordinary, top-notch sound and finish quality. Very very good effects, usable live but also in your DAW (AFX2DAW). Activation takes a bit long but with the videos or docs, it's very simple. I took advantage of the Bundle offer Zen Go + Micro Edge Solo + 15 plugins + AFX2Daw (pure happiness).
After several years with an M-Audio Profire 2626 (very good by the way), it's true that you immediately feel the quality of Antelope converters.
The discrete 4 tempted me, more inputs and the Adat that I could have used with my Profire. Having a very recent PC with Thunderbolt 4, I contacted support for info on Thunderbolt, extremely fast, much more than Asus (brand of my motherboard). No backward compatibility of Thunderbolt 4 and Antelope does not work with it. A top product at a very tight price, I recommend it.
