These are the reeds I personally prefer. I have tried other brands and different strengths, but what I find most remarkable about the V12s is the consistency within the box. At Vandoren, I also tried the 56 rue Lepic, but I find that within the same box, the strength of the reeds is much less consistent. But I am just a small amateur.
