Great controller that allows you to control ABLETON with ease.

Super controller and fast team, super kind and helpful. Can really assign multiple effects with Ableton's MIDI app, the color of the clips on the pads changes everything, really I recommend this product, top notch.

Magnificent machine that allows you to use Ableton 100% without touching the mouse or almost... a real little marvel for 250 euros, you shouldn't hesitate.... Warning: the software provided by Akai crashed my HP computer because they require a restart of the computer which then no longer restarts. I had to reinstall Windows 10 and all the software of my home studio: Maschine, Arturia, Ableton, etc.... so too bad I can't load Hybride, nor Twister... otherwise the machine comes with Ableton 9 Live Lite

I've only had it for 1 week, so my feedback is probably not the most relevant and will only reflect my first impression... which is rather very positive. The only downside, if you want to use it in "pad" mode and not in "launch" mode, it's possible, but at first glance it's less obvious than I expected... I'll try to come back later to nuance my opinion and be a bit more constructive ;)

If you use Ableton Live and are looking for a controller that was specially designed for mixing on this software, the APC 40 is surely the best option. Simple and intuitive, if you are used to Live, you will only need a few minutes to get the hang of it. Thanks Akai for creating such a high-quality machine, and thanks Woodbrass for selling it at a good price!
