Simply wow!! A very beautiful lutherie, playing comfort, sound, look... I dreamed of it, Fender did it and Woodbrass invented the Crazy Deal! As always, very fast and protected shipping.

After reading some rather good reviews, but also many criticisms regarding Fender's "marketing stunt," I thought the best thing was to try it myself.
The handling is classic for a Strato, no particular issues. The neck is comfortable, 60's D profile.
As mentioned in a famous magazine, the finish is a bit thick, but well... Personally, it doesn't bother me at all.
It is quite light (playing Les Paul the rest of the year, I'm not very objective), no finish issues on the body.
The pickups are killer (the same as on the gray bottom which costs almost twice as much), the craftsmanship is more than decent for a Mexican model.
The vintage tuners do the job even if after using and abusing the vibrato (which allows use without "zwing" as soon as you touch it, quite rare at this price) there won't be a miracle! You'll have to retune a bit.
In short, if you're looking for a new Strat with a very interesting quality-price ratio, it's all good.
If you're a Hendrix fan and dream of a reversed headstock, same, it's all good.
It's not complicated, after testing it for a good half hour in the store, I ended up leaving with it!
So go to your favorite stores and try it, you won't be disappointed.

I went to try it in the store. During my trial, I compared it to a standard Mexican Strat and a standard American one.
In the end, when you take the trouble to try, you realize that the price of guitars is very often related to the perceived quality of the instruments. Well, I won't be original, no surprise this time either.
Compared to a standard Mexican Strat, the Hendrix sounds better. And compared to the American standard, again no surprise, the American sounds better than the Hendrix.
In short, the Hendrix is well placed between the two. With a little extra on the sound side that makes me place it much closer to the American than to the standard Mexican.
In terms of finish, no surprise either. The Hendrix is closer to the standard Mexican than to the American. The American is a good notch above in terms of finish, wood, varnish, cases, etc., etc... Naturally, the price is not the same either.
Now let's be objective and look at the value for money of these 3 guitars.
Basically, we have one guitar at 600, another at 900, and another at 1550.
Frankly, in my opinion, the best value for money of the lot remains the Hendrix. For 900 euros, it's a very good Strat. Original by its look and by its brighter sound in the highs. The American Vintage 65 pickups are really great.
It's a Fender signature and on top of that, it's produced in a limited series. (so-called)
In short, it's not the standard guitar you see everywhere and that will always be produced in 10 years. Possibly discounted or cleared out at certain times of the year.
The Hendrix is an original Mexican Strat with a very nice value for money that will necessarily keep a better resale value on the second-hand market given its original and limited nature.
