It is a product designed for live play according to the presentation videos, but I took it for a completely different reason: to capture the kick midi play in the studio for acoustic recording sessions for a more natural beat timing.

The pedal does what is expected of it, the sounds are decent without being strikingly true. I deducted 2 stars for the following reasons: 1 - Output level quite low 2 - High price 3 - For this price, the power supply is not included. Welcome to Roland

The sounds are not of satisfactory quality, a bit too "midi". Otherwise, the Pedal still seems sturdy and is quite light.
