Bought to replace my broken MOTU 828. I must say I am satisfied. Ideal for a home studio. Its number of inputs allows connecting microphones, guitars, synth, and mixing console without constantly disconnecting equipment. In terms of sound: the preamps are effective (rather crystalline sound). Appreciable direct monitor for recording without too much adjusting the mix in the DAW. The monitoring knob on top is super practical for easy listening access.
