I tried this microphone during a loan for a session. I used it on a double bass (in a jazz quintet) and I was honestly blown away. The big tube sound, very precise, it sounds direct. I left the microphone in neutral mode, but the vintage or forward function surely allows adapting more easily to the musical context and the style being recorded... the whole microphone is beautifully finished and inspires confidence as well. In short, a nice surprise!
