After a quick test, I find this microphone quite good. Not excellent but better than a cheap passive rosette, for example. Because this microphone is truly passive, the gain is not very high. And it must be processed afterwards via a mixer, preamp, or DI. Ergonomically, it's good, quick, and easy. It's easy to find the right spot for capturing on the drum shell. Finally, regarding the sound, I didn't notice any feedback or distortion. I didn't test it on an amp but recorded it connected to a Zoom H2n. And the sound is quite natural, much more than a too magnetic electric rosette. Maybe a bit better than a piezo but to be verified. The price is okay, not more expensive in any case. And since this sensor is also sensitive to shell noises, it can be used for many other things. For example, fixing it on a wooden shell and playing rhythmic patterns :-) So good to have in your pocket, it will remain useful at some point.

Thank you for the fast shipping. For low-value items, why not ship them by regular mail? Chronopost is good but you have to be there when the delivery person comes!
