Bought for a flute. Excellent material. I hesitated with the light model: No regrets! A bit more weight, but a super stable design, unlikely to catch on the foot because it's very compact and visible. There is an additional shock absorber spring which should also be useful for adapting to the clarinet. If I had to improve something, it would be to have small washable protective sleeves to slip on to absorb moisture.
