Clamps a bit too much and feels warm, so I fear for the durability of the foam pads. Bass seems recessed in the soundstage. The non-extendable cable length at the headphone output is a bit too short, so you end up supporting the weight of the cable (spring part). Good headphones though.

exceptional headset, incredible sound, I've been using it for work for almost 10 years now, I've changed the ear pads once and repaired the cable once, it works like a charm. Many beginners complain that the headset crushes the ears, that's the principle at Sennheiser and its exceptional passive noise reduction which works thanks to the materials and precisely because the headset insulates by pressure around the ears. The HD25 itself will be even stronger for monitoring work and tightens in the same way.

Very good closed headphones, used for my voice recordings. It isolates perfectly. However, I find the sound a bit like "sounding in a box." I haven't been able to try other models of closed headphones to compare. It may simply be a personal appreciation. Otherwise, it is very good.
