Very good small speaker, manufacturing that inspires confidence for a more than reasonable price. I already owned the M-AUDIO AV 40, with the BX5 we have more bass and a more defined treble. I just received them so this is just a first impression. I don't use them for mixing because I trust my BEYERDYNAMIC DT 880 headphones more. With the BX5 I have the impression that there is a slight bump in the low midrange, but they are new, we will see after break-in.

Replacing the previous model. After a short break-in period, I am already starting to feel the difference. Much more bass and more defined upper mids. For the price offered, such a level of quality is almost incredible.

Very reliable product with a very affordable price

Really surprising! Big sound for such a small size. Good bass reproduction despite the 5 inches, I read here and there that a subwoofer is necessary. That's not my opinion, unless you have a studio larger than 30 m², but in that case, you wouldn't choose this speaker size anyway, but rather 8 or 10 inches. Otherwise, I knew the flaws before my purchase, and it's true that the on/off switch at the back... Well, it's not practical. The lack of treble/bass knobs is not annoying because I find them well balanced; you can still adjust the bass with the acoustic space switch, which adapts to the room space and the distance of the speakers from the wall (flat, -2 or -4 dB). I tested them with a multitude of styles (classical, electro, rock, metal, pop, techno, etc...). And it suits me very well for my small home studio.

Order shipped in 3 packages, first an effect pedal, then a speaker, and three days later the rest of the order, very poorly packed. Clear lack of professionalism, the carrier was even embarrassed to deliver a package in this condition.

Until now, I was mixing using headphones. The MB Audio are the "bare minimum" for the small home studio. The sound reproduction is deep, but seems to push a bit in the bass (by comparison). The quality/price ratio is good. The most negative point is discovered after 3 hours of operation: the back is frankly hot. To be continued.

24h delivery, very good as one of my Prodipe broke on me.. I am currently breaking them in, for about 200 euros per pair considering the performance, you will rarely find better. The quality-price ratio is excellent in my opinion. However, I hear a quite pronounced peak in the mids, which must come from the poor acoustics of my room, plus the speakers are not yet broken in. Robust feel in the hands. The small LED at the front that lets you know if you are in optimal stereoscopy condition is a little gadget that in the end is quite useful. At the back, there is a small switch that allows you to set it to "flat", "-2db" or "-4db" for acoustically treated rooms, I find it quite fragile and quite difficult to discern the middle position when moving it but it's a minor detail. Same for the volume control at the back, the potentiometer is not notched, it doesn't bother me personally because I adjust one, then the other by positioning myself in front several times, in the end the two are not necessarily at the same volume level when the sound suits me, so the missing notch, for me it doesn't change anything. To finish, I am happy with my purchase, I didn't expect the shock of the year, the budget has something to do with it, but to be honest, as an average beatmaker it suits me for now, but an upgrade will come later because I don't think I'll keep them for 10 years.
