Good quality but threads are too tight.

A bit heavy, but wide. Note, wide threads, not specified in the product description, which may require thread adapters both on the 2 screws for clamps and for the microphone stand mount if needed.

Seems sturdy, and the mounts are reversible... really handy for anyone who needs to place a microphone very precisely.

Coupling bar very suitable for making a microphone pair in "NOS" and "DIN" setup.
That is to say with a spacing of 20cm and 90° opening but also 30cm and 90° opening. In the latter case, the suspension will help gain the small centimeter missing for the spacing.
But you can also make an "ORTF" pair 17cm and 110°.
It should be noted that the 3 threads are American standard 5/8 (the one for mounting on the boom or stand and the 2 used for mounting or suspending the 2 microphones).
So be careful about that and remember to remove the reducer insert in your clip or microphone suspension to be able to use the same thread pitch (often clips are 3/8 pitch with an original reducer).
In conclusion, good steel material and very good value for money.
It should be noted that the same bar is sold by microphone "brands" at a price 8 times higher!!
To buy without hesitation.
