Excellent. The sound is deep, very fat and the emotions are present! I bought it as a complement to my Roland Fantom and a Moog studio in three parts. The goal of complementarity is well achieved. Note: a) the two midi jacks are very practical; b) the switches are very hard at first use. I hesitated to really force but this is apparently what needs to be done and then they are very good. c) there is a somewhat "plastic" aspect but at this price you can't have everything. I'm not sure the Moog Model-D offers better sounds but I don't have comparison elements except with my Mother 32 or my DFAM and Subharmonicon.

I am very surprised by the quality of these small synthesizers cloned from historical synths by Behringer. The ModelD, even though I have never had a Minimoog in my hands, is really a success.

Very good synth! A little marvel for the price. Be careful though with some small drawbacks, it goes out of tune as soon as you move a bit too far from the "center" of the keyboard, "tune" knobs not notched at 0, so you're never totally sure to be in phase. The knobs are not very big and the finish is far from that of Moog, so for comfort and the pleasure of tweaking it's not excellent excellent, but you can't complain. The main issue is that as soon as you push the resonance beyond the first third you lose the bass and the beautiful power of the oscillators... so for the funky Moog bass you'll have to lower your expectations! But honestly, for the price, a full analog, with 3 oscillators, which basically allows you to recreate the great sounds that made history, and also to make new ones, at this price, it's a must-have ;)

Well, the build quality is not up to Moog's level but, sound-wise, there is nothing to complain about, the goal is achieved. The hardware model is just a bit more expensive than a plugin, 1/10th the price of the Minimoog, it has to be reflected somewhere! You just have to be careful with your gear.
