It's powerful, the sound is quite clean, but it doesn't replace a tube head.

Sound bomb for the price-quality ratio, nothing better

Surprising! I wasn't very confident when buying this amp head, yet it's really very good. I paired it with a Marshall 2X12 8 Ohm cabinet and besides the excellent Vox sound and the very interesting range of tones accessible with just the gain and tone controls, it sounds loud. I play in a UK Punk band and the other guitarist uses an Orange Tiny Terror amp head paired with a 2X12 (I don't remember the brand), and he doesn't outplay me in terms of sound. This amp head is perfectly usable for rehearsals or concerts, the sound is very clean and the controls are simple. I recommend it :) For your information, this amp head replaced my Fender Princeton 65 DSP combo amp and I don't regret it at all.
