I wasn't convinced but since this silencer seemed the best in its category, I tested it. I am happy with my purchase. It does the job and being able to listen with earphones really changes the game since usually, with other silencers, I tend to blow harder to compensate. Not needed here. With the earphones on, I don't feel the need to blow harder because the case reproduces the sound quite faithfully.

Pleasantly surprised, allows me to work without disturbing the family. A bit of reverb makes listening more enjoyable. Thanks to a score editing software, I eliminate my part, and replay the others in MP3 on the second input thanks to an mp3 player, or a PC. Great as far as I'm concerned.

Fantastic equipment to pick up the trumpet in the evening without disturbing the whole family. I would never have started again without it! You just have to push the plugs in well. There is a little resistance on mine, and of course it works less well if they do not make contact with the headphone jack or mute.

Amazing system, just the mute alone is huge, it's the quietest "practice mute" I've had, and moreover, very accurate! The electronics are huge, at first I took off the headphones because I thought I was playing without mute, so realistic! The only downside is that I broke the jack socket base which causes me some listening discomfort with signal loss. But I only have myself to blame. The box has fallen so many times on the floor without breaking! And then the Woodbrass Top service!

What to say, it's magical, no sound comes out of the trumpet but with the headphones you don't get the impression of having a mute, the sound is great with 2 reverb effects and an aux input to connect your phone, iPad, etc... very satisfied with my purchase.
