Good test reviews guided me to choose this bass. The little extra, the French documentation that explains the possible settings, not necessary since it arrives set, but I appreciate understanding how to do it myself if needed. Good quality electronics of the active pickups, battery included, adjustment key also. Black jack, only color available at the time of purchase, it is pretty. Not too heavy. Conforms to the tests I was able to read or see on the net.

A very good bass, the only issue I had is the neck humbucker not pushing upwards when loosening the screws, the spring is damaged

Very pleasant bass once adjusted to my taste, it was quite scratchy when unpacked. The 5 available modes are very good for me, a real treat.

Yamaha did well for this new series. Easy to play bass, fast, very thin neck. It is light and well balanced. Good finish for the price. Good range of sounds with active electronics and the selector for quick adjustment.
