The high-end attack is softened by specially demagnetized Alnico II magnets, and we inject just the right amount of smoke, sweat, and grime to give them that perfect grain. The Antiquity Texas Hot Custom bridge pickup has a higher output level than the neck and middle pickups to give your Stratocaster better overall balance and greater versatility without losing the vintage vibe. The power and brightness are there, and the increased output provides just enough mids to help your tone cut through where traditional Strat pickups fail. Individual notes sound robust, and chords are rich in harmonics. The custom-aged Alnico 2 magnets reduce string pull, resulting in better sustain. This pickup set is custom-aged both aesthetically and magnetically to simulate the wear a pickup undergoes after decades of playing. Each pickup comes with a specially aged cover, and the Alnico 2 poles are specifically calibrated to offer the right combination of tone and smoothness. Each vintage Antiquity Texas Hot Stratocaster pickup is lacquered and coated with black paraffin wax.
