Very good cables, cheaper than the competition. I was a bit skeptical when I received the cables but in the end it works perfectly. A bit more complicated than the video to make the cables, I only made angled cables and you have to really force to keep everything in place in order to screw everything. You must strictly follow the instructions: insert the cable into the tip and turn 180 degrees and from what I saw, do not make back and forth movements, turn once in one direction only otherwise the hot spot and the ground come into contact and you have to take the cable out of the tip, cut a small piece and start again. I strongly recommend working with a multimeter on hand to check continuity after connecting each jack and to check for short circuits. If you check at each step, it avoids having to disassemble both jack plugs in case of a problem, you know which side of the cable it comes from. I took 3 sets so I made 15 patches and I only had issues on one and nothing serious, we disassemble, cut 5mm to have a clean cut again and it's good to go. Once you get the hang of it, it's fine. Just that after a while fingers get tired and it becomes difficult at the end to keep the parts aligned to screw (you have to hold everything with one hand, the other in front to screw). I connected everything and my pedalboard works perfectly. I can't really judge the gain in sound quality because I switched all my pedals in series to a switcher so obviously the circuit is shortened and the sound is better but I can't say if the cables also contribute or not.
