Never underestimate 20 watts! Marshall is the reference, and as a beginner, this amp suits me perfectly. Of course, I plan to add effect pedals, but it sounds good and has a good quality-price ratio. Ideal if you don't have the budget to buy a head + mega powerful cab (which aren't necessarily needed to play at home). I've already used it in rehearsal, it knows how to assert itself and it delivers! So I would say, if you're starting out and looking for a good amp from a recognized brand, without breaking the bank but also not wanting low-end gear, it's a good compromise. After all, it weighs its weight and in an apartment, better not to turn it up full, you can also set it to 10 watts. And it has a headphone output, effects loop + pedalboard provided to change channels (clean or gain) and activate or not the effects loop!

Excellent lampi amp with this Marshall sound. From very nice clean to heavy saturation. With a Slash LP. It really rocks. I recommend it. I used to play on transistors before. Day and night.

First of all, thank you Woodbrass for the fast shipping (two days and the amp was at my place). I switched from a Marshall MG30 transistor amp to a DSL all-tube amp and you can clearly feel the difference. Plugged into a Les Paul, it's magical! The clean sound is warm and round, perfect for blues / blues rock and the overdrive channel is really top-notch. I haven't explored all the settings yet but it's easy to switch from rock to hard rock / metal. Only downside, the reverb... not really present even pushed to 3/4. Also be careful, 20 watts tube amps pack a punch, the output level is much higher than a transistor amp.

in line with what I expected from a small Marshall tube amp. The features are interesting and give it more versatility than some tube amps from other brands. After that, it's a matter of sound choice and there, it's each to their own

Very very good amp, with legendary sound. Lacks quite a bit of reverb, even when set to max. The headphone jack is good but you have to remember to unplug the speaker first otherwise the sound comes out of both the speaker and the headphones. The resonance is not very useful, better not to use it and put another effect instead.
