The USB-C connector provided by the manufacturer was slightly too long, not all the pins were supposed to make contact and the pad was only able to be powered (no connection possible, not detected by the PC). Trying with another USB cable, problem solved (after quite some time searching for the why and how). Beyond this hurdle, nothing to complain about the features and handling, it's really great!
