Offering high sensitivity and 155dB maximum SPL, the P420 delivers a warm, transparent sound quality perfectly suited for ensemble recording, grand piano, woodwind and brass instruments, as well as drums and percussion. With three selectable polar patterns ? cardioid, omnidirectional or figure 8 ? it is an ideal tool for stereo miking techniques and ambient recording.

Great value for money, I was tired of the Rode NT1a that everyone has, I felt that for my voice maybe something else was needed, I feel better with this one, for me it's the same range they have nothing to envy each other it's just different. I would say this one is less sensitive to ambient sound which is cool for voice recordings in a home studio, I also prefer its highs
