Description
The Sennheiser MK 8 is a professional large-diaphragm condenser microphone. Its 1 ”double diaphragm capsule sprayed with 24 carat gold is mounted on a shock absorber and delivers a warm and precise sound while remaining musical. Versatile, the MK 8 offers 5 switchable directivities: omnidirectional, wide cardioid, cardioid, super cardioid and figure 8 to adapt to all sound recording situations. It has a three-position switchable filter to eliminate any residual low-frequency noise below 60Hz or to have a smoother roll-off effect at 100Hz to compensate for the proximity effect when miking close. Ideal for studio or home studio recording, the MK 8 features a sturdy metal housing and comes complete with a mic clip and protective cover. Optional accessories include elastic suspension, foam windscreen, pop shield and hard case.
