The two ?Marcus Vintage-J Revolution? pickups deliver the snap and character typical of single coils: warm, round fullness on the neck side, precise bite and growl on the bridge side. The alder + roasted maple combination adds punch in the mids and excellent note definition. The passive VVT wiring allows blending the two pickups to switch from a woody, wide tone to a tighter, more percussive voice, with a musical tone roll-off to soften the highs without losing presence.
