Created in 1921 by Willem Klazes van der Glas, the Majestic brand designs and manufactures a complete range of orchestral percussion instruments for professionals, teachers, and their students. The Majestic Gateway series makes quality instruments accessible to young percussionists. The M5533D marimba features a 3.3-octave keyboard with full-size padauk bars for realistic and enjoyable playing. Delivered with the M5533DR model, optional resonators can be added later to enhance the sound. The M5550H marimba offers a 5.0-octave keyboard with rosewood bars.
