Created in 1921 by Willem Klazes van der Glas, the Majestic brand designs and manufactures a complete range of orchestral percussion instruments for professionals, teachers, and their students. Since joining the K.H.S group brands in 2003, Majestic has been able to innovate while maintaining its traditional expertise.
The Majestic Gateway series makes quality instruments accessible to young percussionists. The M5533D marimba offers a 3.3-octave keyboard with full-size padauk bars for realistic and enjoyable practice. Delivered with the M5533DR model, optional resonators can be added later to enhance the sound. The M5550H marimba features a 5.0-octave keyboard with rosewood bars.
