Playability The KeyStep mk2 features a 32-note velocity-sensitive Slimkey keyboard with aftertouch, offering expressive control in a compact form factor. Touch-sensitive pitch and modulation strips allow for intuitive real-time modulation, while built-in Chord and Scale modes make exploring new musical phrases both simple and inspiring.
Idea Machine The KeyStep mk2 is as much an idea machine as it is a controller. Its polyphonic step sequencer, 16-mode arpeggiator, pattern chains, and creative tools like Mutate work seamlessly together. Build a riff with the arpeggiator, turn it into a sequence, then tweak it at will! Use Mutate to instantly generate new variations, try a different octave, adjust note lengths, add rests, layer new notes, and record pitch bend and mod wheel automation. Let your ideas evolve without interruption.
