  • Fatar 61-key semi-weighted keyboard with polyphonic aftertouch and RGB Light Guide for immediate expressiveness.
  • High-resolution color display 1280 x 480, 8 touch encoders, and 4D controller for navigating, previewing, and editing without leaving the keyboard.
  • NKS and Kontakt 7 ecosystem: instant mapping, tag-based navigation, preset preview, and deep integration with NI and partner instruments.
  • Extended DAW integration, USB-C power supply and MIDI In/Out, plus up to 4 pedals (sustain, expression, and 2 assignable) for total studio control.

A Series That Raises the Bar in Production Keyboards

This generation raises the bar with a Fatar polyphonic aftertouch, a large high-resolution display, and a workflow centered on NKS. Compared to previous versions, editing is more visual, navigation faster, and expressiveness greatly enhanced. The series is available in 49 and 61 semi-weighted keys and 88 weighted keys to suit every setup.

Designed for Demanding Producers, Composers, and Sound Designers

Whether you program synths, drum kits, orchestral libraries, or work in media scoring, this master keyboard integrates at the heart of your workstation. Its NKS compatibility and tag browser speed up sound searching, while integration with major DAWs streamlines recording, automation, and arrangement.

Deep Control and Frictionless Workflow

Expressiveness and Visual Feedback

The Fatar keybed with polyphonic aftertouch offers independent nuances per note. The Light Guide illuminates zones, articulations, and scales to play accurately and quickly, even on complex instruments.

On-Keyboard Navigation and Editing

The 1280 x 480 display, 8 touch buttons, and 4D controller provide access to essential parameters, presets, and transport functions without looking at the computer. Presets can be browsed by tags with instant preview.

NKS Ecosystem and DAW Integration

The preconfigured mapping covers NI instruments, thousands of Kontakt 7 instruments, and a wide selection of NKS-compatible instruments (Arturia, Heavyocity, Korg, Output, Spitfire Audio, u-he). Dedicated DAW functions support Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase, FL Studio, Digital Performer, Bitwig, and Studio One.

Honestly, a great keyboard! The feel is top-notch. You can control the LED brightness but also turn them off, which was missing in the predecessor. The pitch and modulation wheels are made of aluminum and are normal size. This places this keyboard in the category of high-end large synths like the OBX8 that I own, for example. Finally, it feels like playing a synth, not just a controller. Yes, it has some early issues with integration with certain NI products, but all that will be fixed. Personally, I only use it as a keyboard and I like it a lot. Probably the one with the best feel in its category.

Excellent but be careful! At startup, the s61 must perform an update and YOU MUST IMPERATIVELY connect 2 USB cables including the power one to a separate charger (imperative) with 5 volts and 20 watts, otherwise the update will not complete. Moreover, it must be left connected afterwards because otherwise the keyboard bugs. It's sheer stinginess on Native's part. The rest is splendid.
