Smart Control and Studio Integration

KOMPLETE/NKS instruments and effects come factory-mapped: you adjust filters, envelopes, or macros via the 8 encoders, with precise visual feedback on the OLED. The "Smart Play" mode secures scale playing, generates one-touch chord progressions, and transforms your ideas into patterns via the arpeggiator.

Delivery review and product review after using studio one 5 artist Order; Received earlier than expected. In 36h!! Box not great but fortunately very well packed by Native! The package box was not in good condition... But well, nothing to report and delivery very very fast! Ordered on Monday at 11pm received on Wednesday at 12pm ???? The Gear: Regarding the keyboard, I use it with studio one 5 artist, and having found no info on the internet about integration and therefore bought it without knowing, well the integration requires no setup! Plugged in/recognized! The studio one 5 control works very well! You have a control surface so: play, stop, rewind, loop, tempo, erase take, forward, backward, choose the zone in the track... it works very well! So with the keyboard comes komplete Kontrol, the provided vst and instruments are really great! That's why I took it and not the m-audio! It's serious! Of course, the plugin control functions only work with the native instruments in the komplete kontrol vst and frankly this native stronghold is less intuitive than the vst installed in our good old all-in-one vst folder (I'm 47 years old) but there is choice and the keyboard/vst bundle provided by native is unbeatable! (I do pop, song, chill basically) And then you can also come across vst that integrate into Komplete (Dune 3 for example) Anyway, after spending time choosing a keyboard, I think I chose the safe bet in terms of integration and plugins even if I didn't have komplete before. So there are no pads or lights everywhere, nor a big demonstration of the Arp and scale functions (which are present), the Native universe may seem very closed and not simple to install and understand (which is true!!!), but I am really very satisfied because: 1- the keyboard is of very good quality in terms of materials and feel 2- the integration happens by itself (I hate having to fiddle with assignments) 3- the provided instruments, effects are of great quality and open to the Native Komplete universe without too much hassle! of the strike provided with this very good basic vst but we will find ourselves limited afterwards, but well the subsequent purchase of komplete 12 will make up for this lack ;)
