I will try to give the most comprehensive review of my experience with the Jem Jr and Ibanez quality control. First of all, I had bought a Jem Jr on a competing site, model manufactured on 30/04/2025. It was an absolute disgrace: arrived with black grime everywhere, a huge chip on the 17th fret (the fret installation cracked the wood), one of the tuning machines was mounted crookedly, the paint was disastrous and so on. Since this is my second guitar and my first "mid-range" one, I decided to try again with a second model, this one ordered 1 week later on Woodbrass (before deciding which one to return, or if I would return both). Well, with this second model, the quality is 10x better, it looks like a different guitar model! The one ordered on Woodbrass is from a much more recent stock (manufactured on 24/07/2025, for my order dated 09/08/25) and it is absolutely perfect! No defects, the guitar is sublime. So Ibanez QC is really unreliable, and it's just luck... Regarding the guitar itself, the neck is thin and pleasant, the inlays are very clean, and the guitar breathes quality. Even though I'm not a pro, the pickups have a high output level and can offer very good clear and clean sounds. The only flaw is the Ibanez "DL" Floyd Rose, which is of mediocre quality (even though the guitar holds tuning very well as long as it is not worn out). Inside the guitar, it has a graphite paint shielding very well done, the soldering is clean and the wiring is very well done. I would add that the truss rod is not stuck at all, and the micro adjustments are easy and quick to set up (even if the truss rod travel seems quite limited - about 1 full turn). A very good guitar, provided you are lucky with the stock received.... (Show more)

This Strat is just magnificent, despite being made in Indonesia the finishes are not too bad, some hard-to-reach corners have some finishing defects. The wizard neck is really comfortable in hand, if you have big fingers like me you won't be able to do without it. The jumbo frets are great even if it takes a little time to get used to. A small negative point is that the frets need polishing, some buzzing on the bends even though they are new, a shame. The monkey grip should be a standard, so practical and it prevents damaging your guitar <3 The pickups have their character and are rather good for my part, I really like the neck pickup. I was surprised that the guitar equipped with a Floyd came to me rather well set up, apart from a slight adjustment of the curvature with the truss, and even then it's more a preference than a defect, the low E string is slightly fuzzy otherwise. In summary, for this price the guitar is really a gem, just for its design and the tree of life on the neck <3... (Show more)

Very good guitar, just slightly adjusted the strings, the intonation too, does not buzz, frets are perfect, volume and tone knobs are responsive, light, neck pleasant to hold and easy to play, the effects of the Floyd Rose are well present, the paint finish is flawless, I highly recommend it.

I love it. Just the jack input that scares me because it's very resistant. Will it last long?
