The PRS S2 Special Semi-Hollow offers a versatile sonic platform that combines warmth, clarity, and resonance, thanks to its semi-hollow construction and unique pickup configuration. Equipped with a pair of 58/15 LT humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions as well as a PRS Narrowfield in the middle, this guitar delivers a wide variety of tones, ranging from the articulate brightness of single-coils to the rich, vintage warmth of humbuckers. A 5-way switch and two mini-toggle switches allow players to split the humbuckers, creating twelve distinct pickup combinations and ensuring unlimited tonal possibilities.
The semi-hollow body with a carved maple top and mahogany back adds natural lightness and depth to the guitar’s sound while enhancing sustain. The glued-in mahogany neck with 22 frets, a 25-inch scale length, rosewood fingerboard, and PRS bird inlays ensures smooth and effortless playability. Equipped with the patented PRS tremolo and Phase III locking tuners, the S2 Special Semi-Hollow guarantees perfect tuning stability and delivers expressive performance across a wide range of musical styles.
