The gooseneck is equipped with a 3/8" thread with a 5/8" adapter on which you can mount an SM57 holder, for example.
It comes with a clip for a small diameter microphone.
The gooseneck is firm, it holds the imposed position well, which allows adapting the sound capture to your convenience. It is also adjustable in length with a very effective and secure butterfly nut clamp.
I bought this holder to install an SM57 in a cajon. I made an additional holder to use the immediate clip system.
In the manufacturer's place, I would have lengthened the gooseneck by 2 or 3 cm to provide more comfort when using bulkier microphones without compromising its very good rigidity.... (Show more)
